Frog Eyes release video, or video release Frog Eyes?

In the middle of 2007, a year that saw the release of many great albums, I stumbled upon a band called Frog Eyes. Now, I wasn't exactly throwing myself around to find out about them, their name didn't seem to do it for me. But I did get a chance to listen to a few of their tracks off of their SEVENTH release Tears of the Valedictorian and what they lacked in a band name they made up in musical talent. I'm not saying the album or the band is the greatest thing since sliced bread, but I am saying that they are definitely worth checking out if your out of music on a boring afternoon.

The video for their first single, Idle Songs, presents to us a vision of the world from the eyes of frogs. Wait...no I doesn't. Actually I have no fucking clue what the video is supposed to be about. Drunken, bearded hobos walk around spliced with pictures of paintings and my favorite; a horse with a dart (cigarette) in it's mouth. What the fuck? I feel like I'm tripping on acid.

I'm freaking out man!

You are freaking out, man.

Hey,

Just a heads up, Tears of the Valedictorian isn't Frog Eyes' debut. I think it is their 5th or 6th album.

Also, digging the blog. Keep up the good work.
