Aside from the obvious quartet of MGMT, Bon Iver, Vampire Weekend and TV on the Radio, here are 10 albums (in no particular order) that knocked my socks off in 2008:

I only recently started listening to that Frightened Rabbit disc, but man, what an album. Nice list!

I'm bummed that the Frightened album seemed to be missing off a lot of Best of lists, glad you guys put it on yours!

Also, can't wait to see them on the Josh Schwartz/ Alex Patsavas thing (http://www.thewb.com/shows/rockville-ca/). Can't wait to get some good live footage of this band.
