Bridging the Atlantic learned of Max Barbaria and DJ Vibe's The NeverEnding Story mixtape through Partytack! a few months ago and it is quality (kudos to Partytack!). It's interesting to note that these NYC boys mashup several of the same tracks here as those used in The Hood Internet's Mixtape, but with a different approach and style altogether. The duo has produced a handful of mixtapes based on themes such as The Adventures of Tintin, Bloodsport and A Better Tomorrow. Vibe & Barbaria have most recently released their summer 2007 mix Free To Be You And Me, which I definitely plan to get my hands on.
And by the way, The NeverEnding Story is a wicked movie. If you haven't seen it before, do yourself a favour and watch it as soon as possible.
