Squeezing as many songs as possible into 80 minutes in order to summarise the best of a whole year of music is a pretty daunting task involving tough decisions and regrettably obligatory omissions. But after much deliberation, here are my favourite tracks from 2008:
Why? - Fatalist Palmistry
Amadou and Mariam - Sabali
Born Ruffians - Kurt Vonnegut
TV on the Radio - Family Tree
The Walkmen - In the New Year
Titus Andronicus - My Time Outside The Womb
Islands - Creeper
Laura Marling - The Captain And Hourglass
Fleet Foxes - He Doesn't Know Why
No Age - Eraser
Crystal Castles - Courtship Date
Lykke Li - Dance Dance Dance
Shearwater - Rooks
White Denim - I Can Tell
Little Joy - Keep Me In Mind
Frightened Rabbit - The Twist
Foals - Cassius
Love Is All - Wishing Well
Times New Viking - Drop-Out
Ratatat - Falcon Jab
Chad VanGaalen - Willow Tree
Grand Archives - Sleepdriving
Jay Jay Pistolet - Friend

dude, you should totally check out baeblemusic.com. they have free concert videos from at least 5 of those artists, probably more.
I love your picks for 2008. Is it possible if you could renew the download file. It is no longer available. Thanks
