First post in a while, I've been globetrotting since mid January. Saw Handsome Furs in Frankfurt, Soulwax's 2 Many DJs in Manchester, dreadful Chicks on Speed set at Fabric in London, and some South Indian men playing traditional song to hippies and yuppies alike on the beaches of the Arabian Sea. Neato.

Remix Sunday - Night Facilities

Night Facilities is a dj/producer from Norwich, England. Dude's only 17 and he's already produced stellar remixes of The Go! Team, Cassius, Simian Mobile Disco, The Chemical Brothers and Daft Punk. In fact, he recently crafted one of my favourite Daft Punk remixes ever with his tweaked and sample-tastic reconstruction of 'Prime Time of Your Life'.

He also started his own blog back in August where he makes available rare songs, promos, remixes (both his and those done by others) and his own original creations. 'We Invented MTV' is one of the latter, and I recommend giving it a listen.

Remix Smonday

The weekly remix feature has been pushed back a day due to complications involving the Easter weekend and its latest problems with the Hare Club For Men and the Pope (see the new South Park). This week's remixes come courtesy of Teenagers, Van She, and Mississauga stars MSTRKFT. Original versions of these tracks are out there, but I think each remix outdoes its source material.
