More Sweet Sweet Video

No Age play in the backyard.

Fleet Foxes crank out the claymation.

Junip, older but overlooked... and Swedish, so you know it must be at least mediocre. Let's play guess the singer!

New Music: Foals - Antidotes

Foals are bananas. Not to say bananas are also Foals, that's an outrageous statement and a fallacious argument given our understanding of what Foals in fact are (five-piece from Oxford). If you think we're losing it, consider Sub Pop's egregious description of Foals' guitar sound as both insect and Andy Roddick-like. Whatever they're on, we want it. To reiterate, Foals are bananas. Their Antidotes drops the first week of April, which includes previously released singles "Mathletics" and breakout 2007 hit "Hummer."

*opening line has some relevance, see?

Foals - Mathletics
Foals - Balloons

New Iron & Wine: The Shepherd's Dog

A week ago today, Iron & Wine (a.k.a. Sam Beam) officially released his third album The Shepherd's Dog on Sub Pop Records. Like Iron & Wine albums of yore, The Shepherd’s Dog is filled with tracks featuring beautiful harmonies, lush instrumentation, and gently-told tales edged with melancholy. First single 'Boy With A Coin' has been particularly well received; my favourite track at the moment is 'Carousel'.

If you enjoy Sam Beam's solo work it would be well worth your while to check out the Iron & Wine/Calexico collab In The Reins.
